　　Moxa UC-8580 创新型计算平台专为交通应用设计。
　　UC-8580 系列有两种不同种类的天线接头可选。SMA 型号支持所有类型的 SMA 接头。QMA 型号支持用于 GPS 的 TNC 接头和用于 Wi-Fi/ 蜂窝模块的 QMA 接头，配备四个插槽，用以安装无线模块*，其中三个支持 3G/LTE 模块，一个支持 Wi-Fi 模块。每个 4G/LTE 模块均配备两个 SIM 卡插槽，可利用 Moxa 的蜂窝和 Wi-Fi 管理软件工具——内置“无线管理器”，实现冗余蜂窝网络通信或地域限制 SIM 卡选择。
　　UC-8580 系列利用基于 Linux Kernel 4.1 内核 Debian 8 系统的开放平台，令解决方案供应商可通过 Debian 的 APT（高级包装工具）管理软件包，或通过 Moxa 的 API 库和 GNUC 库，开发软件应用。
　　UC-8580 的单面 I/O 设计十分符合车辆应用需求，车辆中通常不会留有太多空间安装通讯设备。UC-8580 正面还设有访问面板，用户可直接安装或更换无线模块、SIM 卡或 mSATA 卡，无需将安装好的整套装置从墙上拆下。
　　UC-8580 可在以下应用中作为通讯中心计算平台：

　　·TCMS T2G（车对地）网关
　　·移动监测组件
　　·Ethernet Consist Network T2G 网关
　　·车载无线自动售检票系统
