倍福TwinCAT/BSD：可用于倍福工业 PC 的新型操作系统

　　TwinCAT/BSD 是倍福推出的一款新型操作系统，它具备 Windows CE 的成本低、体积小的优势，也具备大型 Windows 操作系统的众多功能。因此，它在很多应用中，也是 Windows 7 或 10 的替代品。
　　TwinCAT/BSD 作为一个操作系统选项，可适用于所有倍福最新的工业 PC 平台。TwinCAT/BSD 将 TwinCAT 运行时实时核与可靠的 FreeBSD 开源操作系统结合于一体。FreeBSD 兼容 Unix，并且是一个开源项目，由一大批开发人员不断进行进一步开发、改进和优化。该系统，也包含 TwinCAT/BSD，支持 ARM CPU 和 Intel Xeon 处理器，支持了从嵌入式控制器到高性能工业 PC 控制器等可以满足不同性能等级需求的控制平台。
　　系统镜像大小仅为 300 MB 左右，运行内存消耗不到 100 MB。因此， TwinCAT/BSD 可以运行在非常紧凑的控制器中，并且可以使用所有的 TwinCAT 3 实时核功能。当然，开发环境仍然是在 Windows 计算机上基于 Visual Studio 的 TwinCAT XAE 来完成。
　　全新的 TwinCAT/BSD 操作系统依据需求来支持多核处理器，也可专为 TwinCAT 独立一个内核用作实时控制。使用 Beckhoff Package Server 可以安装大量 FreeBSD 和 Linux 程序以及 TwinCAT 各种组件功能。此外，也可以通过网络实现操作系统和 TwinCAT 实时核的更新。
