8% to 80% non-condensing
Conforms to PCI 2.2 bus standard allowing universal power support with PCI Hot
Plug capability. Supports both Wake On LAN using legacy WOL power connections
found on many systems, as well as OnNow ACPI.OnNow requiers a PCI 2.2
compliant system , and must have PME support on the host PCI bus to provide
auxiliary power to the adaptor.
Supports both IEEE802.5j fiber optic token-ring standard, as well as the traditional
IEEE802.5 standard for traditional STP wired networks. Can also support RJ-45 UTP
cables using a media filter adapter(available separately)
With redundant NIC capabilities , and HotPlug support ,critical systems can have on
line fail-over network support, and backup adapters can be removed and replaced
without the need to power down servers.
The automatic ring speed detection feature will detect the current ring speed even
when the ring speed is manually set. This will prevent attempted insertion into an
operating ring at the wrong speed ,which preventd network disruptions and
beaconning rings caused by incorrect ring speed . Automatic ring speed seletion will
connect at the best speed to speed sensing DTR swithches, allowing for optimum
network throughput. |
